About the opportunity:

Jacobs are seeking an Apprentice Pipefitter/Mechanical Fitter who will support and work with our current team of Mechanical Operatives. The candidate will learn the safe methods of installing Mechanical equipment and various pipework systems as well as complementing Jacobs existing expertise in delivering projects to key Clients in an industrial environment. The candidate must be well-organized and a motivated team player who is hungry to learn the trade. The candidate will report to the Construction Manager / Mechanical Supervisor and must be able to follow instructions as well as applying the knowledge they have learned.

This role will require the candidate to complete security clearance.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • A minimum three GCSEs at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent) for Maths, English and science.
  • A talent for practical subjects and enjoy ‘hands on’ working
  • An eagerness to work and develop your career as an apprentice electrician in the nuclear industry.
  • An in-date DBS certificate
  • A first year mechanical qualification would be advantageous.
