About the opportunity:

Jacobs are seeking an Apprentice Electrician who will support and work with our current team of Electrical Operatives. The candidate will learn the safe methods of installing Electrical equipment as well as complementing Jacobs existing expertise in delivering projects to key Clients in an industrial environment. The candidate must be well-organized and a motivated team player who is hungry to learn the trade. The candidate will report to the Construction Manager / Mechanical Supervisor and must be able to follow instructions as well as applying the knowledge they have learned.

This role will require the candidate to complete security clearance.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • A minimum three GCSEs at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent) for Maths, English and science.
  • A talent for practical subjects and enjoy ‘hands on’ working
  • An eagerness to work and develop your career as an apprentice electrician in the nuclear industry.
  • An in-date DBS certificate
  • A first year qualification in electrical installation would be advantageous.
  • Candidates must have the right to work in the UK
