We are looking for a hardworking, flexible, resilient and compassionate individual to undertake the role of Administrator based on a busy Reception. The successful applicant will be working in a busy Reception office environment within a Community Mental Health Team setting.

We are a busy Adult and Older Persons Community Mental Health Team Team covering Crewe, Nantwich, Middlewich, Alsager and Sandbach.

Main duties of the job

They will be expected to answer a busy phoneline, signposting calls appropriately, whilst demonstrating compassion and maintaining professional boundaries with callers.

 A patient centred approach is required, with some understanding of mental health issues and they will expected to work as a team to deliver positive outcomes.

You will be responsible for maintaining effective and well organised Community Mental Health clinics and appointing.

The post holder will be expected to liaise with GPs, Consultants and other agencies responding to queries appropriately ensuring confidentiality. Good communication skills are essential.

Previous minute taking experience is preferred, as the post holder will undertake minutes for our Multi-disciplinary and professional meetings.

Experience in audio typing is preferred, with attention to detail and ability to maintain and prioritise work; essential.

  • Evidence of good typing skills e.g. RSA 111/NVQ Level III in an admin related subject or equivalent
