We are currently looking for an Acquisition Manager to oversee the planning, delivery and evaluation of the acquisition of donors across all channels and propositions. This post will manage a team of three to deliver income of over £8 million to the charity by 2023. As part of this role you will be responsible for leading the acquisition team to develop and deliver an extensive programme of innovative supporter recruitment campaigns to meet the requirements of the fundraising strategy and the charity’s strategic objectives.

You will be responsible for strategic donor acquisition planning across a range of channels including postal and digital direct marketing, DRTV and telephone. You will work to a test and learn strategy to ensure that the acquisition programme continues to grow. You will be responsible for acquisition fundraising targets including income generation, average gift, CPA and recruitment volumes. You will liaise with peers to generate cross-departmental campaigns that will feed into the acquisition programme. To be successful within this role you will need to have advanced knowledge of fundraising acquisition techniques and extensive project management experience coupled with strong influencing and negotiation expertise.

You must also demonstrate your ability to manage financial targets effectively and generate quarterly reforecasts.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a variety of simultaneous projects to tight deadlines is also essential for this role as are great communication and relationship building skills.
