Job summary

Working in a highly pressurised environment to provide a professional, efficient and effective administrative service for the Department. Using initiative in sometimes complex situations to ensure that patients are booked in line with local and national Access targets.

Work as part of a team, supporting other team members to deliver the Access targets and a patient focused booking service.

To obtain case notes for the Department on a timely basis from various locations on Glan Clwyd’s site, including the Medical Record’s Department.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

Support Secretarial Team

To obtain case notes for the Department on a timely basis from various locations on Glan Clwyd’s site, including the Medical Record’s Department.

Cover Trauma and Orthopaedic reception as and when required

Sort out clinic letters and distribute to relevant GP surgery

Cover prep office as and when required to cover AL/sickness

Cover POAC off as and when required to cover AL/sickness
