Role: Account/Office Manager
Location: Derby
Salary: £25-28K dependant on experience
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm / 3:45pm finish on Fridays
Please note this is a temporary – permanent role, we are ideally looking for someone who has previous experience with accounts admin.
Our client has gained considerable knowledge in the gas, pipework and maintenance industry, using cutting-edge technology to create high quality durable products.
They have built long term relationships with their clients and customers and are now expanding their team.
We are searching for an Account/office manager to assist with the day to day duties in the office, such as the below:
Job Duties:
You will be reporting into the Finance Director on a day-to-day basis and help support them with the below tasks:
Checking bank accounts
Handling cash flows
Handling budgets
Paying suppliers and wages
Financial reporting
Reconciliation of all the bank accounts.
Updating the cashflows including direct debits and standing orders.
Monitoring the bank balances and making sure that the overdraft limit is not reached
Paying all suppliers including pro forma payments and ad hoc payments
Work with the Senior Administrator to monitor and record absence/ late for all employees
Carry out ad hoc duties or projects as may be required for business purposes.
General Admin duties, which will include scanning, filing etc
The ideal candidate:
Has previous managerial experience not essential but preferred.
Has a good knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Has Sage 50 experience (not essential as training will be provided.)
Needs to be reliable and consistent
Has brilliant organisation skills
