This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse to become part of the School Nursing Service in Wrexham area, as a member of the school nurse team which has responsibility for the health needs of the children and young people in a designated area

The School Staff Nurse will have delegated responsibility for allocated schools/workload.

It will involve undertaking immunisation programmes, health assessments, health promotion both within the community and schools. It will also involve acting in accordance with local Safeguarding procedures and the All Wales Child Protection procedures.

THIS POST IS FIXED TERM FOR 12 MONTHS TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
