Responsibilities
Managing P+Ls for ad hoc commercial projects. Providing regular updates and projections to the Commercial & Events Director and Management Accounting team.
Engaging with client stakeholders, key suppliers (freelance writers, event hosts, market researchers etc.) and colleagues in design, marketing and production to ensure ad hoc commercial projects are delivered on time and match the client’s contracted deliverables.
Ensure commercial projects are delivered to the agreed cost.
Managing the P+L for virtual events programme. Providing regular updates and projections to the Events Manager, Events Director and Management Accounting team.
Engaging with our key event suppliers to ensure all events are delivered to agreed costs
Working with the content and marketing functions to ensure events are launched to market according to agreed schedule
Working with our content and marketing teams to ensure all our events deliver on their agreed ticket sales and revenue targets
Maintaining a keen focus on customer experience:
Monitoring customer feedback and reporting back to team
Working with the wider events team to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction across all our events at agreed target levels
Event delivery
Working with our content team and our key event suppliers and our virtual event production team to deliver professional high-quality events
Deliver on-site support at our events for customers and the content team to ensure the smooth running of all our events
Managing the ticket sales and virtual event sigh-on process for all our events to ensure a smooth effort-free experience for all our event attendees
Managing the relationship with our event website and virtual platform service providers. Managing the set-up process for new events sites and platforms for future events.
Person Specification
Excellent organisation, time management and prioritising skills
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
Great Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Positive, enthusiastic approach and ability to work on own initiative
Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Excellent spelling, grammar, writing and communication skills.
Team player, reliable, approachable, hard worker, flexible
