Main duties of the job

Provide a general enquiry service for the hospital and dealing with patients and staff in an efficient and professional manner.

Responsible for issuing cash to staff and patients.

Responsible for the collection, counting, balancing and safe deposit (banking of cash/cheques).

Balancing of petty cash 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential criteria

  • Good standard of education
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Word processing/Computer qualifications (ECDL or equivalent)
  • Experience using computer packages

  • Experience of dealing with money on a daily basis
  • Dealing with large amounts of cash, balancing accounts and banking.
