We have an exciting opportunity for a kind, caring and compassionate registered nurse to join our team within vascular, as part of the vascular network based at Glan Clwyd Hospital in North Wales. If you are a registered advanced nurse practitioner, or who is willing to work towards an advance nurse practitioner qualification, and is willing to further develop the pillar of leadership and management, then please consider applying.

Education/Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • Registered Nurse Part 1,2,12
  • First degree in nursing / equivalent level of training
  • Evidence of masters working via a current portfolio.
  • Relevant Teaching / assessment programme
  • Desirable criteria

  • Masters degree once practicing as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
  • Knowledge

    Essential criteria

  • Knowledge of key professional issues, and NMC guidelines and codes, relating to professional practice
  • Knowledge of current national guidance and its application in the work place.

  • Experience of applying research evidence to clinical practice
  • Dissemination of knowledge and practice through publication and / or conferencing.

  • Previous experience at representing a service at Health Board / network level.
