Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide your team in delivering assets whilst minimising safety risks and being cost-effective
  • Enable good information flow, throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage the delivery of standardised and customised design, to programme and cost, for your section of the programme of works
  • Understand the importance of design interactions between cross-functional teams and sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Embrace digital transformation throughout the construction and assembly works
  • Manage Temporary works and liaise with Temporary Works Designers
  • Manage site costs within allowable budgets
  • Challenge the norm. Innovate. Continuously improve. Deliberately do things differently
  • MEICA engineering and commissioning background
  • Proven track record in complex project delivery, in defence (preferred) or similar technical sectors
  • Strong client and stakeholder relationship building skills
  • Demonstrable knowledge and application of commissioning methodologies
  • Ability to operate both autonomously and as part of a larger team
  • Excellent oral and written communication and organisation skills
  • Essential soft skills include, leadership, flexibility, self-motivation, effective listening, persuasion, creativity, collaborative style, insightfulness
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft applications
  • Full UK driving license


  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
