Job Summary:
The role of the Support Worker with The Salvation Army is critical to providing a personalised support service for vulnerable, young adults. You will play an active part in planning and delivering a high-quality support service promoting client choice enabling residents to learn new skills, make positive life choices and achieve independent accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
The role of Support Worker is an inspirational one and key to achieving successful outcomes for residents. You will provide one to one support for several residents agreeing together a support plan including a risk assessment designed to enable each young person to achieve their full potential and play an active part in the community. Part of your role is also participating in the delivery of a structured basic life skills programme enabling and empowering residents to live independently.
