Main duties of the job

We are seeking applications from knowledgeable, enthusiastic and committed individuals with significant relevant clinical experience to become the Lead Radiographer for Intervention .

As an employee of BCUHB the successful post-holder will assist in the delivery of a service to improve population health and provide excellent patient care by adopting the organisational values to:

You will be responsible for the operational management of a discrete Interventional service within the Radiology Division which will include providing line management for a team of dedicated Radiographers and covering a range of Interventional I examinations.

You will be required to work closely with senior colleagues, including other Service Lead Radiographers and Principal Radiographers along with other staff to develop and deliver a Radiology service that is patient focused, safe, efficient and cost effective and can meet the current and future needs of the wider Health Board and local population.

The post holder will maintain an active clinical role in delivering the Interventional service which will include working weekday, out-of-hours and on call as and when required.
