Main duties of the job

The post holder will work in special schools across Gwynedd and Anglesey and be supported by a highly specialist SLT.

Dysphagia competencies are desirable but not essential and we will fully support the therapist to train and obtain certified competencies if needed.

The SLT team is committed to evidence based practice and continuing professional development. Regular team meetings and regular supervision ensure a high quality of service is provided and the post holder will contribute to the development of a service which is constantly seeking to improve.

The population of Gwynedd and Anglesey is naturally bilingual and local services including primary and secondary care are provided bilingually in Welsh and English. Therefore we will support Non Welsh speakers to learn Welsh on commencement of employment.
