Fixed Term until June 2023
Parents First is a programme funded by the European Social Fund providing a holistic employment support service for parents of young children who take up the free childcare entitlement, and those who have not yet engaged with those services, in Warrington.
As an Employment Advisor you will play a vital role in supporting a newly established team to achieve the programme aims and objectives. You will need to be enthusiastic, positive and proactive with strong interpersonal skills to work as part of the Parents First Team. You will provide intensive one to one support with a focus on enhancing the self-confidence and opportunities of parents of young children, supporting and encouraging them to access a range of education, employment and training opportunities. You will support parents to identify and overcome barriers preventing them from accessing education, employment and training.
DBS clearance is required.
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
