  • The Role:

  • A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly driven, proactive, and inquisitive Senior Claims MI Analyst to join our Specialty Team. You will be responsible for designing, developing/building, and publishing reports for both internal and external clients. You will be adept in MI reporting, creating report visualisations for clients, as well as developing and building internal MI reporting for managing workflow and performance. You will be at the forefront of supporting the Claims target operating model projects as well as continuous improvement initiatives across our Specialty Team to drive a more efficient and effective claims function.
  • This role would suit someone who comes from a claims insurance background with solid experience in process improvement, project management and MI reporting, who is highly organised and motivated. You will have experience in Acturis and SAS coupled with either Tableau, PowerBI or QlickView and will be advanced in MS Excel. Basic SQL will also aid you being a success in this role followed by a knowledge of all other MS suite packages (PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams etc.). You will be confident, personable, and efficient in dealing with multiple stakeholders, establishing, and maintaining positive working relationships.
  • Responsibilities:

  • Production, analysis, and visualisation of high-quality data reports for both Clients and internal stakeholders. Data will be the foundation of much of the continuous improvement activity and drive business change therefore the role will incorporate an element of project management to deliver efficiency and effectiveness,
  • You will build out workflow and dashboards that provide the Head of Claims Operations as well as other Business stakeholders with a line of sight of key performance data within the Claims teams,
  • Identification of process improvement opportunities and change initiatives derived from the data together with a robust benefit case as part of the project discipline,
  • You will collaborate across departments in order to work with varied stakeholders within the PIB Group, working closely with teams involved in the production and analysis of data within PIB to ensure one version of the truth in relation to data,
  • You will support the ongoing workshops around the claim’s customer journeys and delivery of the claims procedure manual,
  • You will support in the delivery of the target operating model projects that fundamentally underpin the operation across the four regions, reviewing systems, processes, and organisational design,
  • You will undertake other ad hoc operational tasks as they arise, in support of the claims operations across the regions,
  • Experience:

  • You will have expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: computer science, statistics, analytics, data management, information systems, information science, project/change management discipline,
  • You will have strong experience of the insurance claims process across multiple lines of business and the naming conventions associated with insurance claims data,
  • You will have experience of process and value stream mapping,
  • You will have experience in data analytics and interpretation,
  • You will have experience in Datamodelling, including data integrity and integration,
  • You will have experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders in support of a departmental and/or multi-departmental data management and analytics initiative,
  • You will have excellent planning & organisational skills, experience of managing your own workload and handling multiple workstreams concurrently,
  • You will have previous experience dealing with multiple stakeholders, establishing and maintaining positive working relationships, and able to challenge and probe when needed,
  • You will be a personable, inquisitive, and efficient Claims Operations Analyst who is able to think outside of the box,
  • You will have great analytical skills and display a high level of attention to detail,
  • You will be proficient in MS Suite (Word, Advanced Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams),
  • You have highly developed communication skills (both verbal and written)
