Main duties of the job
The Assistant Hotel Services Manager for Portering Services will be responsible for approximately 100 members of staff, making best use of the resources available to ensure that the services provided are of the highest possible quality. Effective communication with service users and assigned staff will be of paramount importance to ensure service satisfaction and good working relationships.
The role will involve working closely with the Portering Supervisors and Hotel Services Manager to make sure that service provision is satisfactory in accordance with our set operational protocols with a focus on continued development and improvement.
The post will be based at Glan Clwyd Hospital, and the Assistant Manager will need to be able to travel to Community Hospitals and Clinics. A shared pool car will be available for this purpose.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Previous experience of working in a supervisory or managerial capacity or as an operational manager with public service will be beneficial to this role
