The advertised salaries include a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.

Hours: 37 hours per week (part time hours will be considered)

Work base: Carlisle and Eden based at Cumbria House Carlisle with homeworking

A business support administrator vacancy has arisen based primarily at Cumbria House with some homeworking. The position will work across the Carlisle and Eden district covering at various offices as and when required.

We are looking for a self-motivated flexible and experienced administrator to work as part of a friendly and very busy team providing support to social care teams. You will be able to relate sensitively and communicate with a wide range of people.

The ideal candidate will be very experienced in a wide range of office skills including high level minute taking and diary management. Experience of working with a senior team the forward planning of tasks and a high level of attention to detail would be useful. The ability to prioritise your own workload and on your own initiative is essential.

You will also be required to carry out finance tasks maintaining spreadsheets databases and other generic administrative tasks.
