About the role

We are now recruiting for a Solutions Engineer (Innovations) on a permanent basis.

You will work within the context of the Corporate Plan and the Digital Services Strategy to help the organisation in innovation and in achieving its operational and digital ambitions.

You will be the post holder is a key resource for management and colleagues within the Organisation and is responsible for researching, understanding, recommending, and developing the technologies that they might use to achieve the desired business outcomes.

About you

You must be educated to Degree level in an Information Technology related subject.

You will be familiar with business hardware and software systems. You must understands business IT requirements and opportunities for development.

You will be up to date understanding of best practices regarding system security measures.

You must have a proactive approach to technology developments and their impact on the organisation.

You must be able to explain technical concepts and incidents in a non-technical manner and to a non-technical audience.

You must be aware of budget constraints and budgetary commitments.
