Two positions have come up to assist the Cornwall Pension Fund in providing a support function to the Brunel Pensions Partnership, which is one of eight Local Government Pension Scheme pools, bringing together over £35 billion of investments. The Investment Analysts will support the Pension Investments Manager and their primary role will be:

  • To provide support to the Brunel Client Group, Brunel Oversight Board and the Shareholder Forum. This will include attending meetings to take minutes, maintaining sub-group work plans and providing administrative functions to the groups.
  • To complete analytical projects set by the Brunel Client Group, Brunel Oversight Board and the Shareholder Forum.
  • To monitor Brunel Ltd’s delivery of client requests and services
  • The successful applicant will have:

  • Financial experience/investments experience 

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Ability to summarise complex information succinctly

  • Have strong analytic skills

  • Possession of or a willingness to study for a relevant finance or investment qualification (e.g. Investment Management Certificate, CCAB).
