This exciting vacancy is based within the Families First team which is part of the Children in Care and Care Leavers service.

The role 

The post holder will manage a caseload of Parent Assessment Manual ‘PAMS’ assessments. A guide used to work with and assess parents families when there are child protection concerns and complete these assessments within agreed timescales for the Family Courts. If the successful applicant does not hold the PAMS training then this will be provided within this role. 

Within the Families First team you will work alongside the social work teams to ensure high quality assessments are completed. The role is part of the wider Families First team where you will work alongside family time and specialist intervention workers.

    DBS clearance is required.

    The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
