Are you a friendly and approachable person? Do you strive for the best in everything you do, and think you could make a positive difference to the lives of autistic and/or neurodivergent individuals? If this sounds like you, and you’re seeking a rewarding job role, we are currently recruiting for a number of Senior Care Support Assistants to join our Adult Services staff team.
Working independently and as part of a team, you will support young people and adults to access a range of activities both within our residential homes and in the community. You will need to be enthusiastic, able to use your own initiative, have a drive and resilience for what is often a demanding role; and you must be people-centred with good communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive, trusting relationships with the adults we support.
While you will have practical experience within a social care setting, it is not essential for candidates to have previously worked with autistic individuals – all we ask is that you are hard-working, willing to learn and committed to helping those we support to live as safely and independently as possible, in a nurturing home environment.
In less than 500 words, demonstrate how you meet the person specification. Please include your response in your application using the ‘Your response to the application question(s)’ box.
