ABOUT THE ROLE
Medacs Healthcare is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Officer to be based at the Homecare Division Leeds Branch.
The Quality Assurance Officer ensures all staff have appropriate clearance, meet Medacs compliance requirements and are trained to the correct level.
Our Homecare division prides itself on being a quality homecare provider that coordinates and delivers domiciliary care, specialist care and complex care services to the elderly, children, and those with special needs within their homes.
Working in our Homecare division
Governed by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), our teams work with service users, their loved ones, local authorities, social services and case managers to create customised homecare packages that promote independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
On a daily basis, our teams coordinate visitations into people’s homes to provide personal care to individuals, so that they can continue to live in their homes independently.
We have CQC registered branches and services in seven locations. Across our branches we have staff who plan and coordinate our services, and Care Workers out in the communities we serve.
Here’s some of the key responsibilities:
- Reporting to senior management on the performance of systems and any need for improvement
- Ensuring all new staff are given inductions following agreed processes
- Making sure staff training is conducted and follow up actions are being implemented
- Supporting with the Managed Healthcare business development opportunities
- Supporting the Branch Manager to ensure branches are always fully compliant with CQC, legal and contractual requirements
- Supporting the Branch Manager in dealing with complaints/concerns
- Assisting the Branch Manager in sending out Service User and Care Worker surveys, compile the results and developing action plans from the surveys
A great communicator with strong admin and customer service skills coupled with CQC quality and Domiciliary care sector experience
