About the role

We are currently looking for a Business and Facilities Manager on a part time permanent basis who will be responsible for ensuring that schemes, offices, buildings and services operate as a safe living environment for customers and a safe workplace for all colleagues and visitors.

You will work closely with our Care and Support, Customer First, Assets, DLO Management functions and oversee the facilities management of these services.

The purpose of the role is to provide a first class service to customers by continuously exceeding standards and expectations and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. You will also lead in specific projects as directed by the appropriate Senior Manager.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • carrying out void inspections and ensure works are instigated and completed within the organisational performance target check
  • Ensuring services are compliant with CQC requirements
  • taking a proactive approach in supporting managers in marketing the services to ensure that void times are minimised and void targets are met
  • contribute to policy and procedure reviews
  • provide information on request in relation to accounts/core and performance against key performance indicators
  • maintain accurate up to date records both computerised and manual, ensuring that confidentiality of records and information relating to service users and staff is maintained in accordance with GreenSquareAccord Limited`s data protection policy.
  • It is essential for this role that you hold a valid UK driving license and have access to a vehicle for work purposes as there will be the requirement to travel to each site each month.

    About you

    Within the role, it is essential that you are able to provide strong leadership and support to managers and staff – role modelling a values-led leadership style with vision and drive which inspires and motivates others.

    You will need to have a good awareness of the diverse needs of customers, and the importance of and experience of using information to tailor service provision is essential.

    Experience of managing complex and sensitive customer queries and remaining calm when dealing with emotional, difficult or distressed people, is also required.

    With excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong verbal reasoning and numerical proficiency, you will be a confident and capable MS Office suite user and presenter.
