Document Controller
12 month contract (Inside IR35)
Location: Chester
Rate: £-£ per day
Start date: Immediate

The Role:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced document controller to join a fast paced team in Chester for 12 months.
Roles & Responsibilities
As the Document Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for the accurate, timely and responsive provision of drawings/documents from records to support engineering investigations and projects and the production of change management proposals. On receipt of updated drawings and documents, ensure the site records are updated, approved and made available within site records
  • Developed planning, coordinating, organizing and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate in non specialist business focused terms.
  • Broad understanding of policy for document retention and document standards. Broad knowledge of security procedures, especially those in relation to documentation classification and storage.
  • Skills & Qualifications
    We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Must be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail so that there is a consistent high level of accuracy in data / information input.
  • Proficient in the use of site computer systems and applications appropriate for the role (e.g. Microsoft Word, VISIO, Excel).
  • Familiarity with technical documentation requirements in a highly regulated environment.
  • 5 GCSEs including Maths and English or relevant experience.
