Introduction

Astute are looking for an Asset Integration Manager working for one of the UKs largest portfolios of biomass and waste to energy facilities.

Reporting to the Group Asset Director and supporting the team of Asset Managers, you’ll be responsible for the Asset Lifecycle and Development plans which support the growth strategy.

Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Group Asset Director, as an Asset Integration Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • To support the delivery of the Asset Management plan, showing the ability to research large volumes of data together with your ability to quickly appreciate where commercial and strategic value lies.
  • The development and execution of strategic business projects inclusive of financial modelling and marketing analysis, supporting the overall team on achieving key milestones.
  • Responsible for drafting, evidencing and illustrating papers, for both internal and external market context, taking into account the value identification, policy and regulatory trends and partnership trends.
  • Be able to run the functions ‘purchase to pay ‘process, complying with the companies procedures, ensuring effective management of resources; this will require close working with team colleagues and others in the central Finance team.
  • Supporting the team with project management and reporting activity to ensure KPIs are met
  • Providing support with new and emerging projects, utilising your business knowledge and developing your understanding of the function; where appropriate you will act on the Asset Managers’ behalf in discussions with stakeholders
  • Deliver independent projects on behalf of the asset function
  • Skills & Qualifications
    We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Highly collaborative style with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify market drivers, key players and trends.
  • Strong numerical ability – able to develop and manage complex spreadsheets and financial models.
  • Ability to produce effective papers/presentations to communicate strategic proposals, business plans, budget papers and commercial/synergy opportunities
  • Highly analytical with aptitude for creating insight from analytical research.
  • Graduate in Business related subject. or technical function with business management experience
  • 2-4 years’ work experience in an analyst, business manager or comparable role – ideally with relevant sector knowledge
