Salary Range: 28226 – 32798

The salary range is based on progression through your ASYE year into a fully qualified Social Worker position.

The advertised salary also includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.

    We are delighted to offer these exciting opportunities to newly qualified social workers to join Cumbria County Council’s Adult Social Care department through our ASYE Academy.

    If you have qualified as a social worker within the last two years you will undertake our Assessed and Supported first Year in Employment (ASYE) programme with the support of a practice assessor guidance from our ASYE team and monthly practice development sessions with our Advanced Practice Leads team.

    We have a number of posts available across our Adult Social Care teams who work alongside adults with care and support needs and their families and carers.

    These roles are a fantastic opportunity for anyone starting their career in Social Work automatically progressing within our teams to a fully qualified Social Worker position once your ASYE Progamme has been completed.

    This role requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check. Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with adults.
