Job Purpose

To assist the R&D Equipment Manager with equipment sales and to provide continuous client support for equipment system sales and distributor support. This will include liaising with the customers and dealing with enquiries.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Quoting for low level sales
  • Supporting the R&D Manager on large system sales when required
  • Following up quotes to their conclusion
  • Liaising with clients and the workshop to manage delivery expectations
  • Ensuring invoicing is sent promptly
  • Demonstration and training on equipment (eventually)
  • Maintaining opportunity management system, ensuring the information is accurate and up to date.
  • Background and experience:
    The key attribute for this position is a positive attitude, with a technical interest/bias. Training will be given to to be able to demonstrate the products with confidence.
    This role would perhaps suit someone who is just starting out on their career path and is keen to join an industry leader on a permanent basis.
    The position would suit someone who is comfortable dealing with customers and projects a confident and knowledgeable image. Proficiency in Excel would also be an advantage.

    This is a full-time role, however flexible working is available where feasible, expect to be in the office 3 days a week once training is completed.
