Help support high standards across the accountancy profession in this exciting role with our Professional Conduct team.

Professional Conduct works to regulate and discipline ICAEW students, members and member firms, and investigate any complaints which may lead to action needing to be taken, to ensure ICAEW Chartered Accountants undertake work to highest possible standards.

In this new role you will support the conduct team by setting up new complaint cases and providing administration support, producing letters and reports, scanning and managing correspondence. You will respond to requests from other regulatory bodies and progress other cases to a satisfactory conclusion.

We don’t expect you to have experience in this field. However, given the contentious nature and sensitivity of the complaints involved, we are looking for someone with strong administration experience, an eye for detail and the ability to deliver work of the highest quality. Experience of case management or customer relationship management (CRMs) systems is essential as is the Microsoft Office suite to intermediate level. While you will have your own workload, you’ll be joining a fun, cohesive team who all work well together, so the ability to contribute to a team is also essential.
