The Role

White House Vets Malvern are looking for an adaptable registered veterinary nurse to join their fantastic practice. Our ideal candidate will be a confident nurse with some experience to carry out a wide variety of day-day nursing roles. Your duties will include anaesthetics, in-patient care, stock responsibility and nurse consultations.
We offer a flexible shift pattern working 4-5 days per week with various shift patterns. We have 1:5 shared Saturday morning rota but there are no OOH responsibilities. The salary for this role is up to £26,000 FTE depending on experience.

About Us

Our practice is well established in the community with a lovely, loyal client base. From our practice we have a fabulous view of the Malvern Hills, which are only a short walk away, ideal for long dog walks but within easy reach of the M5/M50. We have all the usual equipment to be expected in a first opinion small animal practice including lab facilities, digital radiography and ultrasound, endoscopy, multiparameter monitoring and laser therapy. We have recently gained RVCS accreditation and are a Veterinary nurse training practice.

About the Team and Culture

The successful candidate will be joining a team of 3 Vets, 2 Nurses, 1 animal nursing assistant, 2 receptionists and a practice director. You will become a core part of our friendly and welcoming team who like to be able to support each other in both their work and personal life. We value our free time as much as our time in practice and promote a good work-life balance, and we have a fantastic Wellbeing Champion who looks after us very well and a mental health first aider. Outside of work we support our local RSPCA and get involved in local charity dog shows.

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for a qualified registered nurse who is happy to take on all aspects of the role. No additional qualifications are required but we would consider funding further advanced training if desired.
