About the role

Balfour Beatty Vinci has an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our team to work in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.

Role Purpose:

To be responsible for all paperwork and tasks relating to their designated area and assisting the Plant Office Manager, Earthworks Manager and Workshop Superintendents.

What you’ll be doing

  • To be responsible for the paperwork for all elements of their project area, ensuring it is signed off by the relevant person and filed correctly
  • To look after day-to-day office tasks on the days when the Plant Office Manager out and to report back/escalate any issues
  • To be responsible for visitors and deliveries that come into the office
  • To work with the workshop fitters to help schedule machine services, ad-hoc repairs and to liaise with site contacts
  • To be a first aider and or fire marshal for the office (training will be provided)
  • Collection of tasks/ paperwork that has been assigned and delegated to workshops engineers by line manager(s) A
  • To support with ad-hoc tasks and projects when required
  • Who we’re looking for

  • Record keeping
  • Demonstrate computer skills, Excel, MS Word
  • Full UK Driving Licence

    Balfour Beatty VINCI (BBV) is responsible for designing and building part of the most exciting and challenging infrastructure project in Europe: HS2.
