Salary – Up to £120,000 (+ £10,000 Car Allowance) per annum – depending on skills and experience

About the role

We are now recruiting for a Finance Director, on a full time permanent basis to support this exciting next phase of GreenSquareAccord`s journey as we capitalise on the greater strength of the combined group and optimise and integrate our processes.

You will provide operational and strategic leadership to the Finance function to enable GreenSquareAccord to deliver financial performance required to achieve its objectives and ensure that GreenSquareAccord complies with all necessary statutory and regulatory requirements.

You will support the risk management strategy and framework for all activities and have commitment to continuous improvement and efficiency.

As a senior strategic stakeholder, you will provide support to the whole organisation and will be pivotal to the shaping of financial strategies, reporting, and business performance.

You will be critical in supporting and challenging the organisation in delivering financial performance to ensure that corporate objectives are achieved through performing against the budget and financial plan.

About you

We are searching for a special candidate whose personal style and capability translate into immediate added value in a busy, capable but relatively newly-formed team.

You will relish the opportunity to add pace and dynamism to the ongoing integration of finance systems and controls, and be keen to place your own stamp on the emerging finance function.

You will be an exceptional and adaptable finance leader, preferably with experience in the social housing sector, with the ability to galvanise a large team and operate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

You will have high standards and be able to lead and inspire others to deliver to them. It is essential that you are ACMA/ACCA/ACA qualified with significant relevant experience.

You must be able to provide evidence of achievement through effective performance management, service planning and target setting; and able to provide highly developed planning and time management skills, to achieve deadlines in a pressurised environment.

You will be solutions-focused with strong analytical and problem solving skills and able to understand and distil complex financial data to support business decision making.

It is essential that you have experience of financial planning in a complex business environment and have strong commercial acumen with knowledge of procurement methodology.

You must be a proven leader, able to inspire and take a team forward and be a strong negotiator and influencer who is able to establish personal authority and credibility, work across boundaries including with industry leaders and build sustainable relationships at all levels.
