Working Hours: 20 hours per week

Contract:  Permanent

Job Summary:

The Salvation Army Housing First Support Service provides support to clients in accommodation from own tenancy to supported accommodation and temporary furnished flat, hotels and living with family / friends.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing a clean environment for staff to work and clients to visit by ensuring all communal areas and business areas in a Ground floor building are cleaned regularly in line with agreed schedule.

This will include: – Housing First main office area, Visitors room, Managers Office, Programme Coordinators Office, Kitchen, Bathrooms and Shower area.

The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:  

  • Being part of the staff team ensuring any health and safety issues are addressed by on site staff
  • Ensuring COSHH information is kept relevant and up to date. (Training is provided)
  • Respecting Confidentiality in line with policy
  • Keeping all appropriate paperwork evidencing tasks completed to support the service
