Main duties of the job

As a Vaccination Contact booking centre assistance you will be the first point of contact for all queries regarding the vaccination programme. We are therefore looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual who is able to deliver exceptional customer service.

The successful applicant will be able to communicate in Welsh and English and have experience of working in a customer service environment using multiple ICT system.

The Contact Centre is open seven days and therefore some weekend working is required.

We do operate a rota system where you know the hours you will be working every week in advance and therefore whilst we are looking for full time members of staff, part time requests will be considered. 

This is a 3 month opportunity until 31/10/2022 and appointment subject to satisfactory references. Secondments are also welcome, although any request will need to be signed off by your line manager. 

This post is fixed term/secondment until 31/10/2022 to meet the needs of the service.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

  • Educated to a minimum of 4 grade C GCSE standard (or equivalent) including English
  • Skills/Experience

  • Experience of working within a busy customer service and/or contact centre environment
  • Experience of working with multiple IT systems
  • Experience of dealing and diffusing difficult conversations / situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in order to build effective rapport and build successful relationships
  • Ability to communicate in Welsh
