About the role

We are now recruiting for a Head of Housing Operations on a full time permanent basis.

Within the role, you will be responsible for the delivery of successful services; Lettings, Income Management, Home Ownership (Leasehold/Shared Ownership) and Tenancy Enforcement; by overseeing the delivery and performance of these specialist, technical functions that balance purpose, customer focus and commerciality.

You must lead, enthuse and motivate technical office-based and field-based teams galvanising all team members towards the same vision and achieving corporate KPI targets.

You must develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Locality teams, other internal colleagues, customer groups (including Customer Panel) and local authorities.

This role fundamental in achieving our corporate mission of `Building Better Lives` by leading a high performing team to achieve corporate KPI targets.

About you

It is essential that you have leadership experience of housing management function and the ability to demonstrate and lead a Customer First approach.

You will be an effective communicator and have the ability to work collaboratively while being able to demonstrate experience of delivering an efficient and effective service.

It is also essential that you have a strong understanding of landlord legislation as you will be considered an expert in this area, including but not limited to lettings, tenancy and lease management, tenancy breaches, welfare reform and income management.

You will have a proven track record of improving performance, managing change, delivering results and establishing a strong performance culture and have the ability to provide guidance, coaching and direction to others, managing uncertainty and change.
