The Coastal Sussex Integrated Musculoskeletal Services (CSIMS) is looking for a highly motivation individual to join our team as a Administration Team Lead for our Referrals department full time.

The post holder will have responsibility for managing and the allocation of administration staff within the Referrals Team, plus staff training – both administrative and clinical.

They will provide training and support to other team administrators, providing a supervisory role and performance management. To cover for other administration team leads and administrators.

To manage, develop and initiate administrative systems and procedures and ensure compliance across team administrators.

Main duties of the job

To manage the the referrals team inlcuding:

  • Responsible for maintaining personnel files, annual leave, sickness and absence records for admin staff.
  • Responsible for staff training and development ensuring needs are identified and met wherever possible.
  • To line manage a Team of administrators including personal development planning, 1:1 supervision and objective setting and review through Appraisals. To manage performance issues as required and where appropriate.
  • To provide leadership within the Team, managing expectations, keeping performance levels within suitable levels, organising daily / weekly tasks, rota planning and the general wellbeing of the staff.
