About the role

We are now recruiting for a Labourer to work across our Voids team for Compliance, on a full time and permanent basis.

You ensure properties are repaired and maintained to a high standard. The post holder will be responsible for carrying out repairs, improvements, surveys and measurements efficiently and economically in accordance with current working practices and all related health and safety legislation, compliance and good practice.

By undertaking a range of planned, void or maintenance works across our properties, you will complete works in conjunction with all health and safety procedures, policies and legislation.

About you

You must have experience of labouring duties in the maintenance or building related sector and be able to assist in the undertaking of a range of planned and responsive maintenance repair works including: Concreting, Brickwork, Painting and Decorating, Fencing, Clearing properties, Plastering, Timberwork and Drainage.

Exposure across involvement in refurbishment of properties including; kitchens, bathrooms, disabled adaptations, roofs, communal areas and community buildings is essential for you to be successful in this role. You must have the ability to effectively use hand-held electronic devices.

The successful candidate will need to have a valid UK Driver`s license to ensure they can work across the business areas.
