Salary: £26,263.18 – £29,091.93 per annum
Contract Duration: Temporary until 30/09/2023

Role Purpose

This post has been created specifically to support people fleeing the conflict in the Ukraine to gain and sustain employment. To help this transition to be as smooth as possible, the postholder will be a dual Ukrainian and English speaker. The postholder will work very closely with our colleagues in the Department of Work and Pensions ( Job Centre Plus) and will operate from the various job centres in the borders for part of the week. You will work in the Employment Support Service, providing the appropriate support to enable the client to progress into the world of work, vocational training or further education and will use your skills to assist in the removal of any barriers that the client may face whilst job searching. You will establish and develop a network of employers and other agencies within the Scottish Borders to source vacancies, work and training opportunities. You will promote the principles of inclusion, normalization and independence to drive forward supported employment in the Scottish Borders .

Essential

Educated to relevant HNC/ SVQ level 3 or significant experience in marketing / sales or equivalent.
The post holder must be fluent in Ukrainian and English (both spoken and written)

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
