Salary: £30,424.18 – £33,179.92 per annum
Contract Duration: Permanent

Role Purpose

Scottish Borders Council is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Community Engagement Officer to join its Communities & Partnerships team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a progressive team, communities, officers and partners to deliver significant national and local policies around Place Making, Food Growing, Climate Change, Biodiversity and the wider sustainable development agenda, and to support organisations and groups to make a difference within their community. The role in supporting communities to reach their full potential will be varied and provides an opportunity to be creative and innovative.

Essential

A relevant degree or professional/management qualification or equivalent experience in this field

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.*
