Were currently seeking a Procurement Lead to work with our clients at their Stockton office and with the wider business in its procurement requirements.
You’ll work alongside our engineering business and support key business projects in developing and improving contracts, terms & conditions, structure, strategy and performance whilst delivering excellence in project contract management, identifying supply chain efficiencies and managing supplier performance issues.

Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Group Procurement Team Lead,, you will be responsible for:

· Ensuring goods & services are procured at the best possible price, quality and delivery, providing efficient support for Engineering and other assigned projects.
· Management of all procurement activities including contracts, materials and services to meet the requirements of Engineering and other assigned projects.
· Effectively work with assigned project teams, internal customers and the Procurement team to develop and improve contracts, terms & conditions, structure, strategy and performance.
· Project contract management, including identifying supply chain efficiencies and supplier performance issues.
· Provide ongoing contract management with nominated technical representatives and customers to support the successful achievement of projects.
· Effectively communicate ideas & info helping to understand.
· Capex purchasing support, including selection of appropriate contracting styles.
· Contract process ownership including invitation to tender and post contract management for engineering.
· Contribute to the on-going development & compliance with procurement policies, procedures & systems.
· Work with support departments, (Legal/Finance/HR etc,) to ensure compliance & risk management.
· Understand customer needs & provide consistently excellent service and the ability to adapt and work effectively across all situations.
· Co-ordinate and manage any project, client and/or supplier related audits.
· Manage all assigned procurement activities within Engineering & assigned projects.
· Liaise with the relevant departments in the pre-qualification of all suppliers.

Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

· A ‘level / equivalent qualification
· Working towards or fully qualified Member of CIPS (MCIPS)
· Project & Capex purchasing support.
· Management/admin of invitation to tender processes.
· Degree: in engineering, procurement, business or project management – Desirable
