About the role

Balfour Beatty Vinci has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Quality Delivery to join our team to work in Coleshill, Birmingham.

Role Purpose:

To ensure that the Company has a clearly defined and executed Quality strategy supported by appropriate policies, procedures with established, best practice Quality tools

What you’ll be doing

  • Ensuring the development, maintenance and application of appropriate content for the IMS to meet the needs of the business
  • Benchmark and determine sector defining quality is, and through the business quality strategy, support the development and implementation to deliver this capability throughout the business
  • Monitoring and report business performance relating to agreed Quality KPIs and Metrics and agree (and monitor) management actions to drive performance improvements
  • Ensuring quality investigations and effective root cause analysis are undertaken
  • Establish appropriate coaching and training collateral to improve quality skills across the business
  • Provision of Quality related training to equip the business with the skills to drive improvements
  • Interfacing with audit function to ensure business requirements are met
  • Providing support to allow Management System Reviews to be successfully conducted
  • Production of appropriate reports and management information
  • Managing the Quality function; including competency, training and development needs
  • Who we’re looking for

  • Quality subject matter expertise and proven track record in Quality Management
  • Build strong relationships with teams.
  • Training and facilitation skills and experience
  • A formal qualification in Quality Management

    Balfour Beatty VINCI (BBV) is responsible for designing and building part of the most exciting and challenging infrastructure project in Europe: HS2.

    We are building the West Midlands section of HS2’s Phase One route, spanning approximately 90km from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.
