The Role
* Training towards full qualification as a Patent Attorney, you will be provided with a fantastic internal training programme which is structured around the individual;
* Gaining first-hand experience in patent drafting and prosecuting as you learn, you’ll be encouraged to exercise your strong written and communication skills;
* You will have the opportunity to be involved in some truly pioneering technologies within the Electronic Engineering, Physics, IT, Gaming and Engineering sectors from the outset;
* Reporting into several Partners, you will learn on the job and confidently build your skills-sets required to becoming a leading Patent Attorney.
The Person
* Of graduate calibre, ideally with a 1st class honours degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics or Computer Science from a Russell Group University;
* Possessing an excellent academic record (A grades or B grades achieved at A-level) is essential for this firm, to train for professional examinations;
* With a sharp eye for detail, coupled with the confidence to communicate to a variety of different stakeholders, you should possess a keen appetite for new technologies and enjoy working alone as much as being part of a team.
You should have a genuine interest in IP, and be passionate about innovation and patent protection strategies.
