Title: PCB Assembly Operative

Location: Poole

Duration: 3 months initially (potential to be extended)

Hours: 37.5hrs –

Shift pattern – Can start between 6:30 and 9:30 and finish between 15:30 and 18:30 with the option of finishing at 12:30 on Friday assuming you have worked their 37.5 hours.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • You will ideally have had experience of modifying and working with PCB’S
  • Experience of wiring, soldering, crimping is all beneficial as will work to wire and assemble complex PCB assemblies and operate spray varnish equipment.
  • Ability to operate Optical Inspection Equipment (AOI)
  • Awareness of Lean & 5s principles and methodology (Desirable)
  • IPC-A- Certification (Desirable)

    Main role responsibilities include:

  • Assembling a wide range of standard parts, semi-products and/or components, and ensuring respective quality, (with focus on electronic assemblies).
  • Performing revolving operations for electronic parts or components, on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
  • Organising own hand stock, constantly monitoring availability of parts, and choosing parts / components appropriately according to production plans.
  • Using specific equipment and a range of specialised tools, you will ensure functionality is maintained
  • Quality control checking and routine manufacturing problem solving will be part of your daily operational routine.
