Main duties of the job

Estates Operations Manager

The Operational Estates Management Team are currently seeking an enthusiastic, conscientious, strongly self-motivated and experienced individual to lead the management team based in the East area at Ysbyty Wrexham Maelor as Estates Operations Manager.

Applicants should have a degree in engineering or construction or have demonstrable equivalent level of knowledge and/or experience. They should have extensive experience working within an NHS Estates maintenance environment including working within the various Authorised Person roles covering elements such as high voltage, low voltage, ventilation, medical gases, water safety etc.

Applicants should have strong leadership skills and a proven work record of successfully managing risk to consistently achieve high standards in quality and compliance.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

This post is fixed term for 2 years due to – meet the needs of the service.
