The Department

As part of the Facilities and Estates Department we are responsible for looking after the whole site here at Villa Park and Bodymoor Heath Training Ground. We have a team of dedicated Professional Engineers that help to maintain the sites.

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Plumbing Engineer to join our Facilities and Estates Team, based at Villa Park. The role will be responsible for supporting the Maintenance Supervisor and Head of Facilities and Estates, this in turn will include the arrangement of planned and preventative maintenance, booking and arranging all contractors for service works.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day reactive maintenance works at Villa Park. You will have knowledge of legal requirements, health and safety, industry legislation and good practice. Additionally, you have the ability to working under pressure. You will give direction and have extensive experience in your profession and maintenance work undertaken by the Facilities and Estates Team and Subcontractors to ensure high quality work.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work within the Facilities Team and onsite Subcontractors to ensure high quality work. You will be professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to solving problems. You will be friendly and enthusiastic with a drive to enhance quality service in a busy fast paced facilities environment.
