What you’ll do as a Dimensions Lead Support Worker
Empower and encourage the young gentleman we support so that he may live their best life – the life that he chooses. You’ll achieve this by being actively – and enthusiastically – involved with every aspect of their day-to-day life (i.e., supporting them with shopping, encouraging them to achieve their aspirations and dreams, being involved with their hobbies, their housework, etc.)
Support with preparing meals
Accompany the gentleman on excursions and work placements – you must be prepared to drive their mobility vehicle
Co-produce and design personalised support plans in partnership with the gentleman we support, their family and your colleagues
Write and maintain written records and use IT systems
Be actively involved in meetings
Act as a role model – you’ll meaningfully coach, mentor and support your colleagues to help them reach their full potential
To be prepared to work flexibly and complete all required training

Further Information
An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this role, the cost of which will be incurred by Dimensions.
