What you’ll do as a Dimensions Lead Support Worker

  • Empower and encourage the young gentleman we support so that he may live their best life – the life that he chooses. You’ll achieve this by being actively – and enthusiastically – involved with every aspect of their day-to-day life (i.e., supporting them with shopping, encouraging them to achieve their aspirations and dreams, being involved with their hobbies, their housework, etc.)
  • Support with preparing meals
  • Accompany the gentleman on excursions and work placements – you must be prepared to drive their mobility vehicle 
  • Co-produce and design personalised support plans in partnership with the gentleman we support, their family and your colleagues
  • Write and maintain written records and use IT systems
  • Be actively involved in meetings
  • Act as a role model – you’ll meaningfully coach, mentor and support your colleagues to help them reach their full potential
  • To be prepared to work flexibly and complete all required training
