Main duties of the job

An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified Cardiac Physiologist to join the team at Glan Clwyd. This vacancy comes at an exciting time for the department with the expansion of the Cardiac Catheter Unit which is now running two labs, which provides a primary PCI service to North Wales.

We are a busy department providing a wide range of investigations and are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated physiologist to join the team.

This is an opportunity for a newly qualified physiologist to join our team. After initial supervision, as a member of the team, the successful applicant will be able to work independently in the lab for angiograms, pacemaker implants, basic pacemaker check, basic echocardiograms and all non-invasive investigations.

The successful candidate will be included in the on-call team for the Cardiac Catheter Lab, following a period of training.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
