About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Building Safety Data Control Officer on a full time permanent basis to be pivotal in establishing, developing and maintaining systems to support our processes and procedures for the Fire Safety Team.

You will be a central member of the team, providing essential support to the Fire Safety Manager and Fire Safety Technical Supervisors. Acting as a lead on Building Safety data, you will be assisting in the management of a cloud based risk management system and providing essential support to ensure fire safety actions are managed effectively. This will all contribute to ensuring our customers` homes are safe and meet the GreenSquareAccord standard.

The role is varied and will require a flexible approach, you will provide support to all areas of the team, including overseeing our servicing programme to our fire safety facilities, equipment and devices. You will also be responsible for ensuring all the necessary tasks related to the efficient collation, management and administration of Fire Safety related regulatory, legislative and compliance data, are all completed methodically and accurately, you will have an eye for detail and the ability to multi-task.

In addition to providing support to the Fire Safety Team, you will be central to the management and control of our Building Safety data. Acting as the custodian of our golden thread of data, your Fire Safety technical expertise will enable you to manage information, ensuring it is accurate, easily understandable, can be accessed by those who need it and it is up to date.

About you

It is essential that you have a Level 3 certificate in Fire Safety or NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management or equivalent qualification.

You must have Substantial experience and a thorough understanding of responsive maintenance and previous experience of managing and reviewing fire safety data, such as building fire strategies, design and construction documentation.

You will be confident in working with and interpreting Fire Safety guidance, legislation and British Standards and of implementing and working with in house software systems.

For this role it is also essential that you have strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills and that you are able to present technical complex data to various audiences.
