They have 7 Vets (1 part time), 7 Nurses and 4 Student Nurses. Within the team there is a surgical certificate holder and a Vet working towards a medicine certificate.

Normal hours will be 4 days during the week (Monday-Friday) from 8.30am-6.30pm plus a share of the weekend rota (generally either one full Saturday in 4, or one Saturday morning in 3).

Westwood Veterinary Practice is a friendly and supportive practice with a wonderful team and great facilities and equipment such as digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound scanner, endoscopy, laparoscopic equipment, multiparameter anaesthetic monitor and in house blood machines as well as fantastic wellbeing initiatives and communications inside and outside of the practice. The New Graduate will be shadowing the team at first and then as they improve they would start to have their own consult list and ops booked in, however always with support of a more senior colleague, and with longer consult length until they are more able to cope. The practice is happy to support with further development and certificates if desired.
