Main duties of the job

Assessing and treatment of patients with musculoskeletal conditions.

Supervision and teaching of junior qualified staff, support staff and students on placement.

Involvement with inservice training and service development.

Participation in 7 day service. 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential criteria

  • Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Evidence of CPD in Physiotherapy in the form of a detailed personal development portfolio.
  • Postgraduate training courses
  • Desirable criteria

  • Membership of appropriate professional post-graduate training body
  • Relevant Special/Clinical interest group membership
  • Clinical educators course
  • Bronze IQT or equivalent
  • Experience

  • Significant Post Registration Experience
  • Evidence of core rotations
  • Experience of working in an NHS environment as physiotherapist and MDT/ multi-agency working where relevant
